Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Warsak Canals Division Peshawar, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites electronic bids on the EPAD system for eight separate works related to restoration, rehabilitation and improvement of canal systems and irrigation infrastructure in Peshawar district under the Peshawar Irrigation Circle ADP No. 2100 for 2025-26. The scope includes rehabilitation of Warsak Pump House, restoration of Warsak Gravity Canal and allied infrastructure, rehabilitation and improvement of Warsak Lift Canal and irrigation systems from various locations including RD 04-000 to 65+000, and restoration of Warsak Left Bank Canal and irrigation facilities. Total estimated costs range from 9.410 million rupees to 38 million rupees across the eight packages. These works are critical for maintaining irrigation infrastructure serving Peshawar region and ensuring effective water supply management.
All bidders must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Act 2013 and must hold valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Eligible firms and contractors must comply with KPPRA rules 2014 and submit bids on a single stage single envelope basis. Bid security of 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted through leading courier or deposited at the office of Executive Engineer Warsak Canals Division Peshawar. The bidder shall submit 02% bid security of the estimated cost as mentioned in the notice. Electronic bidding shall be conducted on an above or below system based on the engineer's estimate.
Bid solicitation documents containing all terms, conditions and relevant instructions can be downloaded from the Irrigation Department or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority official websites. Bids must be uploaded through EPADS portal before the submission deadline of 12:00 Noon on 10 June 2026 in the office of Executive Engineer Warsak Canals Division Peshawar. Pre-bid meeting will be held on 03 June 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 12:30 PM. Bids remain valid for 120 days from the opening date.
