Procurement of Pure Electric Buses

Punjab Transport Company, a wholly owned enterprise of the Government of the Punjab established in 2009, invites prequalification applications from eligible firms and manufacturers (OEMs) for the procurement and supply of nine meter and twelve meter pure electric buses in Lahore Division. The project aims to reduce vehicular emissions and provide safe, efficient, and environment-friendly public transport facilities to commuters across the districts of Lahore Division. The scope includes supply of eco-friendly buses as per detailed specifications provided in the Project Information section of this prequalification document.

Applicants must demonstrate relevant capabilities, competence, and sufficient resources for successful contract execution. Prequalification applications must be prepared using the prescribed standard formats provided in Section 9 of this document. All applications must include requisite supporting documents as specified herein. Applications not prepared on the prescribed format or with missing information may be rejected. Interested bidders must register their firms on the PPRA portal e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) before submission.

Prequalification applications must be submitted online through EPADS at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/ on or before 1100 hours PST on Thursday July 09, 2026 (or the next working day if an official holiday occurs). The Evaluation Committee will open applications at 1130 hours PST on the same day. Bidders may download the complete prequalification document free of cost from the websites of Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority, Transport Department Government of the Punjab, Punjab Transport Company, or EPADS.
