Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department invites electronic bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for the concrete lining of Farid Mehmood Minor from RD 0+000 to 26+880 (tail) in District Jhang, Punjab. The tender is issued by the Office of the Executive Engineer at Trimmu Head Works Division under the Bi-Annual MRS System (01.01.2026 to 30.06.2026) on an item rate basis through the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) e-tendering system under Single Stage-Single Envelope bidding procedure. This irrigation infrastructure project represents a significant development for water conservation and agricultural support in the Jhang district.
Intending contractors and firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and code, and must also maintain valid registration on the Punjab PPRA website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) for the year 2025-26. Bidders are required to submit valid PEC registration with government receipts for professional tax, CNIC, Enlistment/Renewal Fee, and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) registration for 2025-26. All intending contractors must upload bid security or earnest money as a Bank Guarantee or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank in Pakistan in favour of the Executive Engineer, Trimmu Headworks Division, along with item rates on the EPADS website. The bid validity period extends 120 days from the date of bid opening.
Bid documents containing detailed requirements, terms, and conditions are available free of cost on EPADS at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. All bids must be uploaded by 18.06.2026 up to 12:00 PM, with original CDR/Bank Guarantee and attested PEC registration license submitted to the Convener/Zonal Procurement Committee at the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Multan Zone office by the same deadline. Bid opening will occur on 18.06.2026 at 12:30 PM at the Chief Engineer's office in Multan, where responsive bids will be announced in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Only electronic bids submitted through EPADS will be accepted; manual submissions are not permitted. Upon notification of the successful bidder, a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount must be furnished within 15 days as per PPRA Rule 56.
