Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad is procuring a biplane angiography machine as part of its project titled Establishment of Stroke Intervention and Expansion of Critical Care and Cardiac Facilities. This is a goods procurement under the national competitive bidding process using a single stage-two envelope method. The biplane angiography system is a critical medical equipment essential for stroke intervention, neuroradiology, and cardiology procedures. The procurement is being conducted by the Purchase Department at PIMS Hospital, located in Sector G-8/3, Islamabad Capital Territory, with the objective of enhancing the hospital's diagnostic and interventional capabilities in managing acute stroke patients and cardiac cases.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered vendors capable of supplying and installing medical imaging equipment of international standards. Bidders must provide evidence of technical qualifications, financial capacity, and previous experience with similar equipment installations. A bid security declaration is mandatory as part of the submission requirements. All bidders must comply with the general and special conditions of contract as outlined in the bidding document and shall provide performance guarantee upon contract award.
