Description / Scope of Work
The University of Engineering and Technology Lahore invites expressions of interest from qualified contractors, firms, companies and joint ventures for prequalification to finance, design, supply, install and operate a grid-tied solar photovoltaic system at its Faisalabad Campus in Punjab, Pakistan. The project will be executed under a Build, Operate, Lease and Transfer (BOLT) model with operation and maintenance services provided over a 15-year period through a Hire Purchase Agreement on deferred payment basis. This is a competitive prequalification process conducted in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended, using electronic tendering through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal.
Interested parties must be prequalified contractors or firms with relevant experience in solar photovoltaic systems, financing and investment capabilities, and technical expertise in grid-tied renewable energy installations. Eligible applicants should register online at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and submit complete prequalification applications with all required supporting documents including company registration certificates, financial statements, technical credentials, and experience records of similar projects.
The complete Prequalification Document is available free of cost from the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk, UET website at www.uet.edu.pk, and the EPADS portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. All applications must be submitted online via EPADS by 15 June 2026. The expressions of interest will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the Campus Coordinator office. Prospective bidders may request clarifications through the EPADS portal up to seven days before the closing date.
