Description / Scope of Work

The Highways Department, Government of Punjab, invites sealed competitive bids for execution of special repair works on various roads and bridges across Punjab province. This procurement notice covers twenty distinct repair projects including restoration of damaged bridges, repairs to national highways, restoration of flood-damaged infrastructure, and rehabilitation of roads in districts including Sattian, Chakbeli, Guliana, Kasur, and Murree. The total estimated cost of all works is approximately Pakistani rupees 3.8 million with contract periods ranging from two to three months. Projects include special repairs to the Seventh Road in Murree, Vein Forth Road with construction of parallel lengths, G2 Mainuddin Mubarak Kashmir Road, G5 King Road in Murree city, and various other priority road and bridge rehabilitation initiatives across the province. Eligibility is open to registered contractors with valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration (STR) certificates. Bidders must possess relevant experience in road and bridge repair works and comply with all safety and quality standards prescribed by the Highways Department. Bid security (earnest money) is required as specified in the tender documents. All bids must include comprehensive technical proposals, methodology statements, and resource plans demonstrating the bidder's capacity to execute the works within the specified timeframe.

Bid documents are available from the office of the Executive Engineer, Highways Division, or Superintending Engineer, Highways Sub-office, as detailed in individual project notices. Sealed bids must be submitted to the respective office addresses on or before the closing date of June 16, 2026. Bids will be opened on the same date or shortly thereafter. Interested parties should contact the relevant Highways Division office for complete tender conditions, payment schedules, specifications, and any clarifications required. All works must comply with the National Highway Authority standards and Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency requirements.
