Description / Scope of Work
The District Council, Narowal invites sealed e-tenders for the construction of a soling way near Village Bhainia in Tehsil Narowal, Punjab. This infrastructure project carries an estimated cost of eleven point one million rupees and is part of the budget allocation for the financial year 2025-26. The project is open to registered contractors enlisted on E-PADs and certified by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes. Interested bidders must submit their tender and bidding documents electronically on the EPAD Dashboard with associated bid security documentation.
Eligible contractors must be registered on E-PADs and Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category. All intending contractors and firms are required to upload earnest money in the form of a bank-issued Certified Demand Receipt (CDR) in favor of District Council, Narowal, at five percent of the estimated cost, which amounts to five lac fifty five thousand rupees only. The original CDR must be physically submitted to the Tender Opening Committee by 12:00 PM on the bid submission date. Failure to provide the CDR by the deadline shall result in disqualification. Conditional tenders will not be entertained, and the method of selection will be based on least cost. Successful bidders quoting rates more than four point ninety nine percent below the estimated cost shall be required to deposit additional performance security according to PPRA and Works Rules 2017 within the stipulated period after tender acceptance.
Bid documents must be uploaded on the EPAD Dashboard by 17 June 2026 at 12:00 PM, and tenders will be opened on the same date at 02:00 PM in the office of District Council, Narowal in the presence of contractors or their authorized representatives. The date of completion will be as per work order issued following contract award. All works must be performed in accordance with PPRA Rules.
