Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Building Department, Superintending Engineer, Buildings Circle No. 2, Lahore, invites item rate-based tenders for the addition, alteration and improvement of Residence No. 12-A, Aikman Road in GOR-I, Lahore. This is a single-lot tender with an estimated cost of Rs. 3,000,000 and a time limit extending to the closing of financial year 2025-26. The work involves structural and functional enhancements to the residential property located in the GOR-I area of Lahore, Punjab. The tender is issued under Technical Sanction No. E.E No. 2835/C dated 21.05.2026 by the Executive Engineer, Building Division GORs, Lahore.
Prospective bidders must be contractors or firms duly enlisted or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the current financial year in the relevant category. Bidders are required to submit earnest money equal to 5% of the estimated cost (Rs. 150,000) in the form of a CDR, bank draft, or cashier's cheque from any scheduled bank. This bid security must be submitted before the deadline for e-bid submission. Conditional tenders and those submitted without earnest money shall be rejected outright. All bidders must possess valid PEC registration and comply with the department's eligibility requirements.
The complete e-bids must be submitted online through the e-Procurement System (EPADS) portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by 18 June 2026 at 12:00 PM, with e-bid opening scheduled for the same date at 12:30 PM. Original bid security instruments must be physically delivered to the Office of Executive Engineer, Buildings Division GORs, Lahore, PWD Compound, 6-Mecload Road, Lahore, before the e-bid submission deadline. Bidding documents are available immediately after the publication date.
