Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), Lahore invites sealed Single Stage Two Envelope bids for the procurement of comprehensive health insurance services covering employees, spouses, children and parents for the period July 1st, 2026 to June 30th, 2027. The tender covers hospitalization (in-patient) and out-patient reimbursement services as well as group life insurance for PBIT employees only. The procurement is being conducted under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and will be managed from PBIT's office at 23 Aikman Road, GOR 1, Lahore, Punjab. Insurance companies must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in rendering similar services and must submit their bids as a single package containing separate Technical and Financial Bids for Health and Life Insurance components.
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidding insurance companies demonstrate minimum 15 years of proven experience in health and life insurance provision. Bidders must comply with all Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 requirements and submit technical and financial documentation as specified in the tender document. The tender details indicate that the number of lives to be covered is subject to potential increase or decrease at the time of contract execution, with dependent coverage extending to daughters until marriage and sons until age 25. Additionally, profit commission sharing mechanisms will be developed based on good claim experience at the end of each contract year through mutual agreement between the insurance company and PBIT.
