Description / Scope of Work
The Mardan Irrigation Division, under the Accelerated Sustainable Development Initiative (ASD) for Mardan, is inviting bids for the improvement and rehabilitation of drainage system, construction of flood protection works and culverts on various drains at UC Toru and Ghalla Dher in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This civil works project has an estimated cost of Rs 6.190 Million and is advertised under tender reference 251259-ASD Sub Work (NO.1), notified vide S.R.O (29)/Vol:1-40/2025-26 dated August 21, 2025. The scope encompasses drainage rehabilitation and infrastructure development to mitigate flood risks in the designated union councils.
Bidders must be constructors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with work capacity and construction cost limits up to Rs 100 Million as per Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority guidelines. Bids are invited under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) basis for smaller contracts as defined in the KP Public Procurement Rules, 2014. Eligible contractors should possess valid PEC registration and demonstrate technical and financial capability to execute civil works of this nature and scale.
The bidding documents have been prepared in accordance with the Standard Form of Bidding Documents (KP-SBDs) for procurement of works (civil works) for smaller contracts. Interested bidders should obtain the bid solicitation documents from the Mardan Irrigation Division office in Mardan. Bids must be submitted by the closing date of June 24, 2026, with technical and financial proposals evaluated as per the prescribed evaluation criteria.
