Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Employees' Social Security Institution (PESSI) invites sealed e-bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for rehabilitation, up-gradation and special repair works at seven facilities located across Punjab province. The procurement encompasses rehabilitation and up-gradation of the DSS in Sheikhupura, rehabilitation of the Sub Office in Shah Kot, rehabilitation works at DSS South on Defence Road in Lahore, reconstruction of boundary wall and special repair works at SSBHU in Habibabad Kasur, special repair and maintenance works at SSBHU Defence Road Lahore, special repair works at Nawab Sadiq SSBHU in Bahawalpur, and repair and maintenance works at SSBHU in Bhakkar. The estimated tender value totals Rs. 18.86 million with individual project costs ranging from Rs. 1.47 million to Rs. 4.35 million. All projects fall under the Works Division and must be completed within specified durations ranging from three to four months.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category, possess valid PSA and NTR certificates, and demonstrate updated social security contribution records for the preceding six months with valid social security deduction documents. Bidders must provide bid security equivalent to five percent of the estimated contract price in the form of a bank guarantee issued in favor of the Commissioner PESSI. The tender process operates under single-stage, one-envelope procurement methodology as per PPRA rules, and all projects must be registered on E-PADS with mandatory PPRA authorization.
Interested bidders must download bidding documents from the PPRA website and submit e-bids through the E-PADS portal before the closing date of 18 June 2026 at 13:30 hours; no hard copies will be accepted. The scanned copy of the bank guarantee must be uploaded with the e-bid, while the original guarantee should be submitted physically to the Director Works office on or before the tender closing date. Tender opening will occur on 18 June 2026 at 14:00 hours.
