Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department invites sealed bids for the procurement of flood fighting materials across three sections for the financial year 2025-26 in District Sialkot. The tender encompasses three distinct works: procurement of flood fighting material in Barrage Section (estimated cost Rs. 1.951 million), Station Area Section (estimated cost Rs. 1.475 million), and Hydraulic Section (estimated cost Rs. 2.857 million). These procurements are critical for flood defense operations and will be executed under the Single Stage-Single Envelope bidding procedure in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 as amended. The total estimated project value is Rs. 6.283 million with bid security requirements of 5 percent of the estimated cost for each work.
Only engineering firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council with specialization code CE-04 and registered with Punjab PPRA are eligible to participate. Bidders must possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2025-26, along with government receipts for payment of professional tax, CNIC, and relevant enrollment or renewal fees. Earnest money must be submitted in the form of a Bank Guarantee or Call Deposit Receipt from any scheduled bank in Pakistan in favor of the Executive Engineer, Marala Headworks Division UCC. All allintending contractors are required to upload bid security preferably as CDR or Bank Guarantee by 20.06.2026 up to 11:00 AM on the EPADS website.
Bid documents are available on the EPADS website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk free of cost. After uploading bids on EPADS, participating firms and contractors must attend the office of the Executive Engineer, Marala Headworks Division UCC on 20.06.2026 at 11:30 AM for bid retrieval and announcement of quoted rates by the Tender Opening Committee in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Conditional and incomplete bids will be considered non-responsive. All conditions are governed by PPRA Rules 2014 as amended and the Standard Contract Agreement.
