Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Defence Officers Housing Authority (PDOHA) intends to undertake repair and maintenance of the sea side stone masonry retaining wall at DACC in Karachi, Sindh. This project aims to restore and maintain the structural integrity of the coastal stone masonry retaining wall located within the DHA Karachi premises. The scope of work encompasses comprehensive repair and maintenance activities to ensure the durability and safety of the wall against the harsh marine environment. Sealed bids on single stage one envelope procedure are invited from PDOHA Karachi enlisted and eligible contractors and firms having valid PEC registration for the year 2026.
Eligibility criteria require that bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2026 and must be enlisted with DHA Karachi. Bid documents can be obtained from the Maintenance Department (Maint Dte) from 9 June 2026 to 15 June 2026 upon production of valid PEC Registration Certificate. Interested bidders must demonstrate their capability and previous experience in stone masonry work and coastal infrastructure maintenance.
Financial bids comprising one original and one copy must be delivered to the Maintenance Department on or before 1000 hours on 15 June 2026. The financial proposal will be opened on the same day at 1500 hours in the presence of the bidder or an authorized representative. Bid submission location is Maintenance Dte P-38, 10th Street Kh-e-Rahat Phase-VI DHA Karachi. DHA reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids under the provision of rules and regulations.
