Description / Scope of Work
Tubewells Irrigation Division Peshawar, under the Irrigation Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for the restoration, rehabilitation and improvement of canal system irrigation infrastructure in Peshawar Irrigation Circle. The procurement covers six distinct works packages including installation and solarization of solar irrigation tubewells in various locations within Peshawar district and Nowshera district. The total estimated cost ranges from approximately 3.86 million to 12.48 million rupees across the packages, with bid values inclusive of 2 percent stamp duty. Work locations include Charsadda district, Peshawar boundary wall areas, and villages in Nowshera district. All works fall under PEC categories CE-04, CE-09, or CE-10 as per relevant codes.
All bidders are required to maintain valid registration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and must submit bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated cost in the form of call deposits or additional call deposits from scheduled banks only. Bidders must comply with KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014 single stage single envelope procedure. Bidding shall be conducted on an above or below system based on Bill of Quantities and the Engineer's estimate. In case of equal evaluated bids from two or more bidders, the successful bidder will be determined through draw or toss. Bid security for the first, second and third lowest responsive bidders will be retained by the employer until approval by the competent authority.
Bid solicitation documents containing all terms, conditions and relevant instructions can be downloaded from the department website at www.irrigation.gkp.pk or from the KPPRA website at www.kppra.gov.pk. The last date and time for submission of bids along with relevant documents is 30 June 2026 up to 12:00 PM, with opening scheduled for 01:30 PM on the same day in the office of the Executive Engineer Tubewell Irrigation Division Peshawar. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 23 June 2026 at 12:00 PM. Further information regarding this tender can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day prior to bid opening date.
