Description / Scope of Work
The Irrigation Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites sealed competitive bids for desiltation and annual maintenance and repair works across multiple sections of the Charsadda Irrigation Division during 2026-2027. The tender encompasses three major categories: civil works for irrigation infrastructure in Abazai, Harichand, Utmanzai, Kheshki, Doaba, and Sholgara sections with a combined estimated cost of 50 million rupees; mechanical and electrical component works for Kheshki Section and Tangi Lift Irrigation System with a combined value of 9.5 million rupees; and restoration, rehabilitation, and improvement of canal systems across the Peshawar Irrigation Circle under ADP project 2100/250212 with works valued between 28 to 41 million rupees each. All works are located within Charsadda and Peshawar irrigation jurisdictions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Eligibility criteria require contractors to hold valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in appropriate categories and specialization codes. For civil works, contractors must possess Category C-6 and above certification with relevant specializations such as CE-04 full or partial, CE-10 full, and CE-02 full or specified sections. Mechanical and electrical works require Category C-6 registration with specializations ME-05, ME-07, and EE-11. Restoration works under the ADP project require Category C-5 and above with combined civil, electrical, and structural specializations depending on the specific work package. Bid security (earnest money) equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated contract value must be deposited in the name of the Executive Engineer, Charsadda Irrigation Division, Charsadda.
Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, Charsadda Irrigation Division. Sealed bids must be submitted by the closing date of June 29, 2026, with opening to occur on the same date. Interested bidders should contact the Charsadda Irrigation Division office for detailed specifications, drawings, and technical requirements. All works follow the standard form of bidding documents notified by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KP-PPRA) vide notification S.R.O (29)/Vol:1-40/2025-26 dated August 21, 2025, applicable to contracts under Rs. 100 million.
