Pakistan Maritime Security Agency invites separate quotations for 53 IT specifications related to the maintenance and repair of main and emergency switchboards aboard PMSS BASOL. The procurement involves sourcing of spare parts and components including fuse holders, fuses, circuit breakers (ABB ACB 800A AC400V 3 pole and AC380V frame type), changeover switches, MCCB XT1C160TMD50-500 3PFF, and emergency switchboard motorizing breakers. The scope includes preventive maintenance routine (PMS) inspection and cleaning of main circuit/supply breaker of all SSDGs on main and emergency switchboards, and replacement of motorizing breaker (ABB SACE 7MAX 600 AMP) at the emergency switchboard for SAT OPS. Equipment is sourced from the local market with China origin OEM specifications. The work is required to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance of the vessel's electrical systems.
Eligibility is restricted to local and international contractors registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and having prior working experience with Pakistan Maritime Security Agency. Bidders must provide company profile, registration certificates, NTN/STRN documentation, and past performance certificates or client references. All quoted prices must be in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) inclusive of applicable General Sales Tax at 18 percent on goods and Sindh Sales Tax at 15 percent on services rendered. OEM certified items are mandatory with all beyond-economical-repair (BER) items to be replaced with new components using tested tools only.
Bidding follows the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under applicable PPRA Rules and DPPI-35. Separate sealed envelopes must be submitted for Technical Proposal and Commercial Proposal with complete item-wise price breakdown and detailed scope of work description. Estimated Duration of Contract (EDC) is 7 days with 1 year warranty on supplied items and services. Submission details, opening date, and contact information should be obtained from the issuing authority. Acceptance will be based on OEM certification compliance and submission of tested, new replacement components.
