Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Railways Lahore, through its Divisional Superintendent office, invites electronic bids on a composite schedule of rates for two maintenance and repair projects under the Lahore Division. The first work involves special repair and provision of water supply arrangements at HS Tank No.1 and water supply pipe line in Okara station yard on the SWAL–LHR Section, with an approximate cost of Rs 2,184,000 and a completion period of three months. The second work covers special repairs to East and West Cabins at Qila Sheikhupra Railway Station Yard on the SDR-SLL Section, valued at Rs 6,445,195 with a three-month completion timeline. Both projects are situated in Punjab province and are open to registered contracting firms with valid PEC registration in financial category C-6 or above, relevant specialization code CE-10, and active tax filer status on the Federal Board of Revenue and GST Active Tax Payer List.
Bidders must be registered with PEC in the required financial category, possess a valid NTN number, maintain active FBR and GST status, and submit bid security as specified: Rs 50,000 for the first work and Rs 130,000 for the second work. Bids must be accompanied by a scanned copy of CDR (Certificate of Deposit Receipt) issued by a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan in the name of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Lahore. Only bids submitted through the E-PADS system will be accepted; no manual or offline submissions are permitted.
Tender documents are available free of cost from http://e.procure.gov.pk and must be submitted electronically via the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS) before 11:00 hours on 26 June 2026. Bids will be opened on the same date at 11:30 hours in the office of the Divisional Engineer-I, Pakistan Railways, Bohgi Road Lahore, with representatives of participating firms invited as witnesses.
