Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan International Airlines Company Limited (PIACL), the national flag carrier, invites sealed bids from quality hotels for hiring of hotel services to accommodate its cabin crew in Karachi. The requirement is for approximately 25 to 30 rooms per day on an ongoing basis. This tender is referenced as GMCM/Hotel/Cabin Crew/KHI/01/26 and is being conducted in Sindh province. The contract will be for one year with the possibility of extension for two additional one-year terms upon mutual consent and successful performance. The offer validity must be 180 days from the date of bid opening.
Eligible bidders must be quality hotels registered with the Federal Board of Revenue's Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and must be listed on the Active Taxpayers List. All bidders are required to submit a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 15,000 via pay order in the name of PIACL along with the technical proposal. Bid security in the form of a pay order of PKR 500,000 is mandatory, valid for 180 days from the bid opening date and refundable if unsuccessful. Upon award of contract, the successful tenderer must furnish an additional performance guarantee equivalent to the earnest money value stated in the Letter of Intent.
Bidding documents are available for download from the PIA website at www.piac.com.pk, the PPRA website at www.ppra.org.pk, and via PPRA E-PADS at https://eprocure.gov.pk. Bidders must submit bids electronically through E-PADS on or before 29 June 2026 at 1030 hours PST. Hard copies of the technical proposal with original pay orders for tender fee and bid security must be submitted to GM Contract Management, Supply Chain Management Department, PIA Head Office, Karachi by the same date and time. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 1100 hours through E-PADS. Tender evaluation will follow a single-stage two-envelope procedure with technical evaluation (30 percent weightage) followed by financial proposal opening (70 percent weightage) for technically qualified hotels.
