Description / Scope of Work
Punjab Irrigation Department, D.G. Khan Canal Division-I invites electronic bids for concrete lining work on Jat Wah Minor from RD 0+000 to RD 15+000. The estimated contract value is Rs 58,384,300 with a completion period of 12 months. This civil works project in D.G. Khan includes detailed specifications for borrowpit excavation, earthwork compaction, cement plaster application in 1:6 ratio, cement concrete lining using 1:2:4 ratio stone aggregate on both bed and slope sections, joint filling, bitumen coating, and material carriage over 57 kilometers. The scope encompasses jungle clearance, tree removal, and dismantling of existing brick work with proper disposal of excavated material.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in specialization code CE-04 and with Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Contractors and engineering firms must submit valid PEC registration for 2025-26, government receipts for professional tax payment, CNIC, and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) registration. Bid security of 5 percent of estimated cost must be submitted as Bank Guarantee or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank in Pakistan, valid for 120 days, in favor of the Executive Engineer, D.G. Khan Canal Division-I.
Bidding documents are available free of cost on EPADS platform at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and PPRA website. All bids must be submitted electronically on EPADS by 29.06.2026 at 12:00 PM with scanned copies of CDR/Bank Guarantee and attested PEC registration. Original documents must be submitted to the Tender Opening Committee on the same date by 12:00 PM. Tender opening will occur at 12:30 PM on 29.06.2026 at the office of Executive Engineer, D.G. Khan Canal Division-I where responsive bidders' rates will be announced. The lowest bidder must provide 10 percent performance guarantee as per PPRA Rule 56. Manual bids submitted by hand or through non-EPADS channels will not be accepted. All conditions conform to PPRA Rules 2014 as amended.
