Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dera Ghazi Khan invites sealed bids from eligible firms, companies and contractors for the procurement and hiring of comprehensive security arrangements during Muharram-ul-Haram 1448 AH in 2026. The scope of services covers security-related equipment, vehicles, surveillance systems, barricading material and allied arrangements at locations identified by the District Administration. Dera Ghazi Khan in Punjab province will require various vehicles including coasters, buses, hiace vans, double cabin vehicles and loader rickshaws, along with security equipment such as walk-through gates, hand-held metal detectors, search mirrors and portable generators. The tender also encompasses a complete CCTV surveillance system featuring HD cameras, PTZ cameras, NVR/DVR systems, LED monitoring screens with internet connectivity and a dedicated monitoring control room with recording backup facilities.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and possess a valid NTN, maintaining active taxpayer status. Bidders should be registered with the Punjab Revenue Authority where applicable and must not be blacklisted by any Government Department. Applicants must demonstrate relevant experience in similar security assignments and possess adequate financial and technical capacity. A bid security equivalent to 5 percent of the quoted bid value must be submitted in the form of a CDR, pay order or bank guarantee from a scheduled bank. The successful bidder shall furnish additional performance security of 10 percent of the contract value before issuance of the work order.
Interested bidders may obtain detailed bidding documents from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dera Ghazi Khan during official office hours. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before the specified closing date and will be opened on the announced opening date in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The procurement follows the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended.
