Description / Scope of Work
The Public Health Engineering Division Buner, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites electronic bids from eligible contractors for construction of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Scheme across multiple union councils in District Buner and adjacent northern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Chitral Lower, Chitral Upper, Swat, Dir Upper, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan Upper, Kohistan Lower, Battagram, Mansehra, Torghar, Abbottabad, Kolai Pallas and Haripur. The project encompasses 58 distinct works with a combined estimated cost exceeding 540 million rupees, including sanitation schemes, installation of hand pumps and pressure pumps, water supply systems, solar-based drinking water schemes, and construction of street pavement with drainage infrastructure across various village councils and union councils in the region.
Eligible bidders must possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) holding CE-09 or CE-10 code, valid registration and renewal with the Provincial Enlistment Committee for 2025-26, and active tax payer status with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA). Bid security and additional security deposits are required as per KPPRA Notification SRO (14) Vol:1-24/2021-22 dated May 10, 2022, with earnest money specified for each individual work ranging from approximately 55,110 to 642,350 rupees. All bids must comply with the Single Stage, Single Envelope procedure outlined in Rule 6(2)(a) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) Rules 2014.
Bidding documents and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) can be downloaded from the E-PADS website at www.epads.gov.pk. Eligible contractors must submit original tender documents through courier service addressed to the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Division Buner, accompanied by earnest money deposited as call deposit in the name of the undersigned. Tender documents must be received by 12:00 P.M. on June 30, 2026, with opening scheduled for 12:30 P.M. the same date in the presence of participating contractors or their authorized representatives.
