Description / Scope of Work
Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad invites bids for the procurement of hard drives compatible with Dell servers installed at its IT Data Centre. This procurement activity, referenced as 01/2026-27, is conducted under the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure of the Public Procurement Rules 2004. The university has allocated funds for various goods and non-consulting services during the financial year 2026-27, with part of these proceeds dedicated to covering eligible payments under contracts resulting from this procurement activity. The hard drives will be delivered on a Delivered Duty Paid basis to Islamabad.
Eligible suppliers must be duly registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and must appear on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. All bidders are required to submit a bid security of the required amount in an acceptable form as specified in the bidding document. The scanned copy of the bid security must be uploaded through the e-PADS system, while the original hard copy must be submitted physically at the designated address.
The bidding document containing detailed terms and conditions can be downloaded free of cost from https://eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System at https://eprocure.gov.pk by 1030 hours PST on 01-07-2026. The bid security instrument in original form, sealed in envelope(s) and duly mentioning the procurement activity name and reference number, must be delivered before the submission deadline. Bid opening will occur at 1100 hours PST on the same date at the Meeting Room, New ICT Building, AIOU Main Campus, Sector H-8, Islamabad.
