Description / Scope of Work
Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) invites bids for the procurement of works involving column jacketing in the library at the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences (I & CS) Department. This is a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) project for works costing not more than Rs. 25 Million, published under the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SPPRA) framework. The scope of work includes structural reinforcement and jacketing of columns within the library facility to ensure structural integrity and safety compliance. The project is located in Sindh province and represents a critical infrastructure improvement initiative for the university's academic facilities.
Eligible bidders must meet the criteria defined in the Instructions to Bidders section IB.2 of this bidding document, which may be amended by the Procuring Agency as deemed appropriate. Bidders are required to submit bid security in the form of a lump sum figure or a percentage of the bid price, ranging between 1% and 5% as specified in clause IB.13.1 and in accordance with SPP Rule 37. All participating contractors must possess relevant experience, valid registration, and necessary licenses for undertaking civil works in Sindh.

Bids must be submitted at the designated location within the stipulated timeframe, with the opening of bids scheduled for the same date as the bid receipt deadline as per SPP Rule 41.
