Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General of Archaeology, Government of the Punjab invites bids for the Preservation, Restoration, Improvement, Management and Upgradation of Hiran Minar in Sheikhupura, Punjab under Phase-2 of this heritage conservation project. This is a specialized construction and restoration work contract with an estimated completion period of six months. The work involves comprehensive restoration activities at the historic Hiran Minar monument located in Sheikhupura district, combining preservation techniques with modern upgradation to ensure the long-term integrity and accessibility of this important archaeological site.
Eligible bidders must meet the general criteria for participation in government procurement contracts in Punjab and are required to submit bid security equal to five percent of the estimated project cost. Bidders must possess relevant experience in restoration and preservation work, with particular emphasis on heritage site management and archaeological conservation. The bidding process follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure, with separate technical and financial bid envelopes to be submitted simultaneously.
Bidding documents are available from the Directorate General of Archaeology office located at 60-A, Garden Block, Garden Town, Lahore. Interested bidders should obtain complete bidding documents and submit their sealed bids before the specified deadline. The bid opening and technical evaluation will follow the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure, with financial bids opened only for technically qualified proposals.
