Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), a statutory organization established in 1973, invites sealed bids under PPRA Rule 36(b) for renting of its underutilized properties and land parcels located at different commercial hubs across the country. The tender covers land ranging from a minimum of 5 Kanal (22,500 square feet) to a maximum of 50 Kanal (225,000 square feet) at prime and highly commercial locations in Federal territory and various provinces. The primary scope is to obtain maximum revenue through optimum utilization of underutilized properties without affecting PBC's core broadcasting functions. Land can be utilized for commercial development including transportation, logistics, warehousing, beverages, marquees, medical colleges and allied services, banking sectors, ATM services, theme parks, sports clubs, and other highly profitable establishments. Revenue generated will be used to enhance PBC's functions, introduce cutting-edge broadcasting technology including AI in production, and modernize operations to reach wider audiences domestically and internationally.
Eligible bidders include multinational companies, well-reputed and financially sound public limited companies, state-owned entities, banking sector organizations, warehouse companies operating under SOEs, multinational transport companies, hotels, restaurants, marquees operators, sports clubs, medical colleges, hospitals, and allied service providers. The selected tenant/lessee will be responsible for planning, designing, and constructing infrastructure for approved commercial use, ensuring compliance with national and provincial laws, building codes, and environmental regulations. The successful bidder must obtain all necessary permissions, NOCs, and clearances from relevant authorities and manage the premises in a suitable condition throughout the lease period. Any constructed infrastructure becomes the property of PBC and cannot be removed or dismantled upon lease termination.
