Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan International Airlines Company Limited, the national flag carrier, invites sealed bids from quality hotels registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue for the hiring of hotel services in Faisalabad. The tender seeks to procure accommodation services for approximately 10 to 20 rooms per week to house cockpit crews and aircraft engineers on rotation. The contract is for an initial period of one year with the possibility of extension for two additional one-year terms subject to mutual consent and successful performance. This is a significant service procurement for PIA's operational requirements in Faisalabad, Sindh province.
Eligible bidders must be quality hotels operating in Faisalabad with proper tax registration and active taxpayer status. Bidders are required to submit a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 15,000 through a pay order in the name of PIACL along with their technical proposal. A bid security of PKR 500,000 in the form of a pay order valid for 180 days from the tender opening date must accompany the bid. The successful contractor will be required to furnish a performance guarantee equivalent to the earnest money value, valid for three months beyond contract expiry. All bid security and performance guarantee documents must be submitted in the prescribed format.
Bidding documents are available electronically on the PIA website at www.piac.com.pk, the PPRA website at www.ppra.org.pk, and through the PPRA E-PADS portal at https://eprocure.gov.pk. Bidders must register on E-PADS to access documents and submit bids electronically. Sealed bids must be submitted through E-PADS on or before 6 July 2026 at 10:30 hours PST, with bid opening scheduled for 11:00 hours the same day. Hard copies of technical proposals with original pay orders must be submitted to the GM Contract Management, Supply Chain Management Department, PIA Head Office, Karachi.
