Description / Scope of Work
The Gwadar Development Authority invites bids from eligible contractors for the construction of a full tile covered drain with a link from Airport Road to Densien Services Road in Gwadar, Balochistan. This infrastructure project has an estimated cost of PKR 16,648,000 and will be executed on percentage rates basis. The work is to be procured under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 through a single-stage one-envelope bidding procedure. The project aims to improve drainage infrastructure connectivity in the Gwadar region, a key development area in Pakistan.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the Active Tax Payer List and must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency of Pakistan. Bidders are required to have completed at least two assignments of similar nature in the last five years and demonstrate a minimum turnover of PKR 13,050,600. Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council at Grade C-6 and above (with minimum 25 million rupees in relevant experience for roads, streets and pavements drainage and retaining structures) is mandatory. Bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost must accompany each bid in the form of a Bank Guarantee or Deposit at Call.
Tender documents are available from the Gwadar Development Authority office and through the BPPRA GOB website. The documents can also be downloaded from the portal at applicable fee of PKR 2,000. All bids must be submitted by 02 July 2026 before 11:00 AM at the Office of the Executive Engineer (Roads-III), Gwadar Development Authority. Tender opening will occur on the same date at 12:30 PM.
