Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Gujranwala invites sealed bids from eligible firms and contractors for the procurement of mechanized tree transplantation services. The project involves uprooting, transportation and transplantation of mature trees of various species located along G.T. Road in Gujranwala, specifically covering kilometer numbers 1337 to 1348 on both left and right sides. The work requires specialized equipment including Tree Spade Machines and allied equipment for professional execution. This procurement is being conducted under the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure in accordance with Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014.
Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant authorities, possess valid NTN certification and be listed on the Active Taxpayers List. Interested firms must demonstrate proven experience in mechanized tree transplantation and own or have verified access to suitable Tree Spade Machines and related equipment. Bidders must not be blacklisted by any Government Department or Agency. A bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost is required in the form of CDR, Bank Draft or Pay Order made in favour of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Gujranwala.
Bidding documents containing detailed specifications, terms, conditions, evaluation criteria and scope of work are available from the office of the Deputy Conservator during office hours from 19 June 2026 to 25 June 2026 upon submission of a written request and payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000. Sealed bids must be delivered to the office on or before 2 July 2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical Proposals will be opened on 2 July 2026 at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives, with Financial Proposals of qualified bidders opened subsequently.
