Description / Scope of Work
The Gilgit-Baltistan Government Servants Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance has rescheduled the submission and opening of competitive bids for three procurement categories: repair and maintenance of government vehicles, machinery and equipment, and furniture and fixtures. The tender was originally published on 11th June 2026 with an initial closing date of 29th June 2026, but owing to unavailable circumstances, the bid submission and opening dates have been rescheduled to 6th July 2026. This procurement initiative is being undertaken by the Gilgit-Baltistan government entity to procure essential goods and services across operational and administrative needs in the region.
All bidders are required to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in the original tender notices published in national and local newspapers and uploaded on the Gilgit-Baltistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (GBPPRA) website. Interested vendors and contractors must submit their bids in accordance with the re-scheduled dates and times. The bid security, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and other procedural requirements remain as specified in the original tender documentation issued earlier.
Bid submission and opening will occur on 6th July 2026 with staggered timings for each category: repair and maintenance of government vehicles at 12:00 PM closing and 12:30 PM opening; machinery and equipment at 2:00 PM closing and 2:30 PM opening; and furniture and fixtures at 2:00 PM closing and 2:30 PM opening. Bidders should obtain complete tender documents from the GBPPRA website or relevant procurement office, and all other terms and conditions of the original tender notices shall remain unchanged.
