Horticulture Agency Gujranwala invites bids from experienced firms specializing in mechanical tree transplantation for the shifting and transplantation of different species of trees located on both sides of GT Road and other green belts within Gujranwala City. The project encompasses the transplantation of approximately 1,488 trees comprising 400 palms (Washingtonia, Bismarkia, Khajor varieties) and 1,088 trees of various species including Peepal, Shesham, Simbhal, Alastonia, Jacaranda, Amaltas, and Kachnar ranging from small saplings up to 36 inches DBH and above. The estimated project cost is Rs. 31.86 million with a completion timeline of 15 calendar days. The contractor must provide all necessary machinery including specialized mechanical tree transplanter machinery, hydraulic cranes, excavators, water bouzers, loaders, and transportation vehicles along with skilled labor and technical expertise.
Bidders must meet mandatory eligibility criteria including legal status documentation (Certificate of Incorporation, partnership deeds, or sole proprietorship affidavits), valid NTN registration with active income tax status, valid GST and PST registration, professional tax certificates, company account maintenance certificates from banks, and satisfactory previous work certificates from departments. The bid security requirement is Rs. 1.593 million. Bidders must own or possess the required mechanical tree transplanter machines and supporting equipment. Multiple notarized affidavits on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 1,250 each are mandatory, affirming authorization to represent the firm, understanding of all tender conditions, and commitment to execute the contract at 0.25 percent stamp duty with acceptance of legal and financial liability for delays or defaults.
Bids must be submitted through the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure with technical bids opening immediately after financial bid closing. The closing date and time for bid submission is 08-07-2026 at 01:00 PM, with technical bid opening at 01:30 PM on the same date. Scanned copies of bid security must be uploaded on E-PADS PPRA Punjab (mandatory), while original bid security instruments such as CDRs or pay orders must be submitted physically at the Horticulture Agency Gujranwala office before the closing deadline. Bid documents must be properly annexed with table of contents and page numbers. Failure to provide any mandatory document will result in automatic disqualification of the bid.
