The District Blood Transfusion Officer at DHQ Hospital Bahawalnagar invites sealed bids through the E-Pads portal for a framework contract to supply lab items, general store items, linen items, stationery and printing materials during the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is divided into two separate tenders: the first covering lab items, general store and linen items with a budgeted cost of PKR 18,000,000, and the second for stationery and printing items with a budgeted cost of PKR 3,500,000. These supplies will be distributed across the Blood Transfusion Unit at DHQ Bahawalnagar and THQ hospitals and health facilities under the jurisdiction of DBTO (DHQ) Bahawalnagar. The tender seeks qualified suppliers, manufacturers, sole agents, distributors and agencies with sound financial background and proven experience in providing supplies to government institutions.
Eligible bidders must submit bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost in the form of a call deposit from any scheduled bank. The procurement will follow a Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (as amended to date). Bidders must possess valid NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates, as taxes will be deducted according to applicable government rules. Only technically responsive bids will have their financial proposals opened; technically non-responsive financial proposals will not be evaluated.
Interested bidders may obtain the complete bidding documents and detailed technical specifications from the PPRA Punjab official website and E-Pads portal at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. All bids must be submitted electronically through the E-Pads portal before 11:00 AM on 16 July 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM on the same date. Bidders are advised not to wait until the last date and time for submission. Original bid security must accompany the bid submission, with an additional original copy submitted at the DBTO Bahawalnagar office.
