Pakistan Defence Officers Housing Authority (PDOHA), Karachi invites sealed bids from reputed firms registered under the Income Tax and Sales Tax Act and approved by AEDB for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and net metering of a 450 kilowatt on-grid solar system at DHA Club. This is a significant renewable energy procurement project for the Defence Officers Housing Authority in Karachi, Sindh, aimed at reducing operational electricity costs and promoting sustainable energy practices within the residential community. The project scope includes complete installation of the solar photovoltaic system with net metering capability, allowing the authority to sell excess generated electricity back to the national grid.
Bidders must be eligible manufacturers and suppliers approved by the Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB). The tender fee is PKR 5,000, payable as a non-refundable amount via Pay Order in favour of Pakistan Defence Officers Housing Authority. Bid security and other financial requirements must be submitted with technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes. Only firms meeting the specified eligibility criteria and regulatory approvals will be considered for contract award.
Bidding documents are available from the office of the Director Procurement at DHA Head Office from 1 to 2 July 2026 upon submission of a written request and payment of the prescribed bid documents fee. Technical bids will be opened on 15 July 2026 at 1100 hours, with financial bid opening scheduled for a date to be intimated later. Separate sealed financial and technical proposals must be delivered at the undersigned office half an hour before 1100 hours on 15 July 2026.
