Horticulture Agency Gujranwala invites sealed bids from experienced and qualified firms with demonstrated expertise in mechanical tree transplantation for the shifting and transplantation of 135 different palm trees (Washingtonia, Bismarkia, and Khajor varieties) with heights ranging from 50 to 60 feet along the GT Road green belts from Kangni Wala Bypass to Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park on the western sides in Gujranwala, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 2,970,000 with a completion period of 15 days. The contractor must provide all necessary machinery, equipment, labor, transportation, and technical expertise to execute the complete tree transplantation work.
Eligible bidders must be properly registered companies, sole proprietorships, or partnership firms with valid NTN and GST registrations, active income tax status, and professional tax certificates. Bidders are required to submit proof of previous work satisfactory certificates from relevant departments and must own or possess essential equipment including mechanical tree transplanter machines, hydraulic cranes, excavators, water bouzers, loaders, and transportation vehicles. A bid security of Rs. 148,500 is mandatory, and bidders must provide notarized affidavits affirming their understanding of all terms and conditions, authorization to represent the firm, and commitment to execute the contract at the prescribed stamp duty rate.
Bids must be submitted through the E-PADS PPRA Punjab system with original bid security documents submitted to the Horticulture Agency Gujranwala office before the closing date of July 10, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened on the same date at 12:30 PM. The procurement follows a Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure with technical evaluation based on experience (25 marks), completed projects (20 marks), available machinery and equipment (20 marks), technical staff and experts (15 marks), and financial strength (10 marks), with a passing score of 70 out of 100 marks. Interested firms must ensure submission of all mandatory documents including company incorporation certificates or relevant legal status documents, GST and PST registrations with current returns, and proof of bank account maintenance.
