Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, through the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project (KITE), invites sealed quotations from eligible bidders and contractors for the procurement of upgrade equipment for enhanced tourist experience and improved site management at walk-through gates located at Jamai Ghari, Takht-i-Bahi, Bhamala, Saidu Sharif Stupa, and Akra Mound in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This procurement is financed by an International Development Association (IDA) credit from the World Bank Group. The project reference is PK-KP DOT-559376-GO-RFQ with Project ID P163562 and Credit No. IDA-64620/77990. The procurement follows World Bank Procurement Regulations using a single-stage one-envelope Request for Quotation (RFQ) methodology, which is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the regulations.
Eligible bidders, contractors, and firms are invited to participate in this competitive procurement process. Interested parties must meet the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the World Bank Procurement Regulations (Procurement in Investment Project Financing, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018). Quotations must be accompanied by a bid security in favor of the Project Director, PMU KITE DoT, worth PKR 500,000 in the form of an irrevocable unconditional bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank, a call deposit receipt (CDR), or a pay order. No negotiations on price will be permitted after quotation submission.
