Description / Scope of Work
The Regional Directorate of Food, Karachi Region invites bids for transportation of wheat bags from TCP Rental Godown Pipri, District Malir, Karachi to designated Landhi Godowns and Primary Rice Centers (PRCs) of District Malir, Karachi Food Region. The contract covers wheat crops from 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons and shall remain valid until 28 February 2027. Contractors must lift wheat bags on a 100% weighment basis, ensuring correct quantity and quality verification at the dispatching point before delivery to prescribed weighbridges. Rates should be quoted per 101 kilograms gross weight, inclusive of loading, unloading, proper stacking up to 15-18 bags high, sweeping, stitching of damaged bags, and sutli costs. Contractors bear full responsibility for all en-route shortages and losses in transit, recoverable from bills, security deposits, or as arrears of land revenue.
Eligibility requirements include contractor registration status verification and submission of a CNIC copy. Bid security must be provided as a full pay order from any scheduled bank, with the amount specified in Annexure-A. A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 2,000 (Rupees Two Thousand only) must be paid via cash or pay order challan to the Food Account-II at SBP/NBP. All transportation shall be subject to conditions laid down in SPPRA Rules and directives issued by the Food Department Government of Sindh.
Tender submission deadline is 14 July 2026 up to 02:00 PM, with tender opening scheduled for 02:30 PM the same day at the Regional Directorate of Food, Karachi Region. Bidders must complete the tender form with contractor name, signature, CNIC number, business address, firm registration status, and capacity of signatory.
