Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites electronic bids through single stage single envelope open competitive bidding procedure for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap electrical material. This tender is applicable to interested individuals, firms, companies, sole proprietorships, partnership firms, private limited companies, state-owned enterprises, NGOs, NFOs and IGOs. The tender reference T-17/2026-27 with E-PAD reference D10160 covers seven lots of scrap material including iron scraps, batteries, conductors, transformers, de-hydration plants, generators and various electrical components. The materials are currently stored at T&G Warehouse in Quetta, Balochistan province, with a combined estimated quantity of approximately 167,968 kilograms across multiple items. The scope includes iron scrape miscellaneous items, batteries of various sizes dismantled from vehicles, measuring meters, capacitor units, transmission line conductors, transformers, de-hydration equipment, and generators in unserviceable condition.
Eligibility criteria require that bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue for income tax and sales tax purposes and possess a valid taxpayer list. Bidders are required to provide bid security equivalent to 10 percent of the bid amount in the form of CDR or pay order valid for 120 days from the date of opening of tender. All bids must be accompanied by proper bid security and must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the tender title, procurement date and opening time. The bidder's representative must provide an office certificate on FPRA letterhead in order to attend the bid opening ceremony held at PMU QESCO headquarters.
Bid documents are available for registered bidders on EPADS version 2.0 at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. The tender opening is scheduled for 16 July 2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of Manager (Procurement) PMU QESCO located at Zarghoon Road in Quetta.
