Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Liaison Office Karachi invites quotations for stevedoring services related to the loading and handling of one 20-foot container containing Defence Store Explosive/Dangerous goods with a gross weight up to 5.830 metric tons. The container is being exported to a friendly country by sea from Karachi Port Security Berth in Sindh province. This procurement covers stevedoring operations for transferring the container from truck to ship, with quotations required separately for two conditions: when the ship has its own crane (gear) and when the ship has no crane (gearless). The scope includes all port and ship-side handling formalities to be completed within scheduled berthing time.
Quotations must be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the POF Liaison Office, POF Complex 3rd Floor, 252-A, Sarwar Shaheed Road, Saddar Karachi. Bidders should clearly mark their quotation envelope with "Quotation for Stevedoring" and provide lump sum charges in Pakistani Rupees covering all handling operations. Payment will be made on actual completion of work upon submission of original related documents, bills, and invoices. No specific technical qualifications or licenses are detailed in the notice, though stevedoring companies operating at Karachi Port are expected to meet standard maritime handling requirements.
Sealed quotations must be received by 14:00 hours on 22 July 2026, with opening scheduled for 14:30 hours the same day. Interested bidders may contact the POF Liaison Office Karachi or submit inquiries for clarification. The Deputy Director reserves the right to disqualify any quotation without assigning reasons.
