Description / Scope of Work
Lahore Electric Supply Company invites electronic bids from qualified firms and bidders for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap materials through E-PADS Version 2.0 portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. The tender comprises three lots including iron scrap unserviceable off-size totaling 60,000 kilograms, ACSR rail conductor burnt and unserviceable totaling 51,498 kilograms, and iron scrap of structures and trollies totaling 100,000 kilograms. The materials are located at LESCO Regional Store Pattoki, Warehouse CKM and Disposal Store Fazaiya, and Regional Store Shalamar in Punjab province. All items are being disposed on an as-is-where-is basis with total bid security requirements of 200,000, 900,000, and 250,000 Pakistani rupees for lots one, two, and three respectively. The tender is conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope Procedure of Public Procurement Rules 2004 with the 36/A procedure as amended.
Prospective bidders must meet standard eligibility criteria and hold valid business registration documents. Mandatory submission of bid security in acceptable form is required before the scheduled bid submission deadline at the office of the Chief Engineer Materials Management at LESCO Headquarters. Interested bidders can inspect the scrap materials during regular working hours on any business day prior to submission. Reserve prices are exclusive of all applicable taxes, which will be charged separately at the time of final payment according to government rules.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions are available for download from the PPRA website and E-PADS platform. Electronic bids must be submitted through the E-PADS system on or before July 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bid opening will occur on the same date and time.
