Description / Scope of Work
Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) invites electronic bids from qualified firms and bidders for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap materials through E-PADS (Version 2.0) platform. The tender covers two main lots: Lot 1 comprises ACSR Rail Dismantled Conductor with hardware including jumpers, dead end bodies and associated components totalling 50,884 kilograms with a bid security of PKR 600,000; Lot 2 includes iron scrap from structures, trolleys and related items totalling 100,000 kilograms with a bid security of PKR 250,000. All materials are located at LESCO Warehouse CKM, Disposal Store Fazaiya, and Regional Store Shalama in Punjab. The items are being disposed on an as-is-where-is basis, and interested bidders are permitted to inspect the scrap during working hours at the designated locations.
Bidders must meet eligibility and qualification criteria as specified in the bidding documents and must submit original bid security in an acceptable form to the office of the Chief Engineer (Materials Management) at LESCO Headquarters before the scheduled bid submission deadline. The bid security amounts are fixed and mandatory for participation. All bids shall be considered exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be charged separately at the time of final payment as per government rules. Bidders must provide an undertaking regarding black listing, environmental protection adherence, and acceptance of all terms and conditions.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, eligibility requirements, and specifications can be downloaded from the PPRA website and E-PADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. The bidding process will be conducted in accordance with Section 36/A of the Public Procurement Rules 2004 (PPRA-2004) as amended, through the E-PADS electronic procurement system using a Single Stage One Envelope procedure. The bid opening is scheduled for 21 July 2026 at 11:00 AM. All eligible bidders are encouraged to visit the LESCO stores for inspection and submit their electronic bids through the designated platform with required documentation and bid security.
