Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government and Rural Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders for the solarization of masjids and madrasas at PK-63 in Charsadda District. This work is estimated at PKR 45.93 million and represents a significant infrastructure development project aimed at promoting renewable energy adoption in religious and educational institutions across the province. The tender is being conducted under MRS-2025 Annual procurement guidelines with a bid security requirement of PKR 918,600, equivalent to two percent of the estimated project cost.
Bidders must be registered government contractors with the Punjab Engineering Council and enlisted with the C&W Department under the Centralized Enlistment Policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the current financial year. Bid security must be submitted physically in the form of call deposit receipts from scheduled banks made in favor of the Assistant Director LG&RDD Tehsil Tangi, located in OLD FEF College Building Chungi No 1 near Tangi Bazar, Tehsil Tangi District Charsadda. The bid validity period is 120 days from the submission date. Technical and financial bids must be uploaded through the EPADS platform by the specified deadline.
Bidding documents are available for download from the official EPADS website at www.petalkpeprocure.gov.pk following publication of the Notice Inviting Bids. Both technical and financial bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS before 12:00 PM on July 14, 2026, with opening scheduled for 12:30 PM on the same date. Online clarification requests are accepted until 5:00 PM on July 7, 2026. Tender evaluation will follow the criteria outlined in the bid solicitation documents, and financial bids of unqualified bidders will remain unopened. All procurement activities are governed by KP-PRA Notification No. SRO (14)/Vol: 124/2021-22/6058-71 and KPPRA Notification No. S.S.R.O (29)/Vol: 1-40/2025/26/699-711 dated October 29, 2025.
