Description / Scope of Work
District Council Multan invites online bids through the Punjab e-Procurement System for the celebration of Pakistan's 79th Independence Day on 14th August 2026. The procurement encompasses eight distinct supply and execution items with a total estimated cost of PKR 3,308,000, including panaflex banners (8000 sft), steamers with wooden frames (4000 sft), Pakistani flags with sticks (200 units), assorted sweets (200 kg), gift boxes containing candies and chocolates (500 units), national badges or magnets (100 units), digital illumination of four office buildings for two days on rental basis (60 panels), and a five-minute fireworks display at a location to be decided by the District Commissioner or Administrator. This procurement is open to Income Tax and Sales Tax registered contractors, firms, and suppliers for execution in Multan district, Punjab.
Prospective bidders must be registered with the relevant tax authorities and shall provide a copy of their active PRA registration certificate. The bid security required is 5 percent of the estimated cost, to be submitted as a CDR in favour of District Council Multan in hard copy format before the online bid submission deadline. Successful bidders will be required to deposit an additional performance guarantee of 5 percent of the contract amount before the issuance of supply orders for each lot separately. All quoted rates must be in Pakistani Rupees, inclusive of all applicable taxes, with taxes to be deducted as per government rules.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions are available free of charge on the Punjab e-Procurement website at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ and https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk/. Online bids must be submitted through the Punjab E-Procurement System, with the bid submission closing on 29th July 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM by the prescribed committee in the presence of available contractors or their authorized representatives at the District Council Multan office. A single-stage, one-envelope bidding procedure will be followed. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids according to the evaluation criteria specified in the tender form.
