Description / Scope of Work
Central Ordnance Depot Lahore invites sealed bids from original manufacturers, authorized distributors and contractors registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments for the local purchase of ordnance stores required for EME installations and machines, along with items specified for Army Store Inspection Depot, with items and specifications held with Lahore Headquarters. This procurement is part of the FY 2025-2026 budget cycle and covers supplies and equipment essential for military engineering maintenance operations across Pakistan. Bidders must obtain detailed bidding documents containing full terms, conditions and technical specifications from COD Lahore Cantonment LP Branch within 15 days of publication during regular office hours.
Bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and must submit separate Technical Offer and Commercial Offer in sealed envelopes marked clearly in bold letters and red ink. A bid security of five percent of the quoted price must accompany the commercial offer as a bank draft or pay order in favour of Commandant Central Ordnance Depot Lahore. Technical specifications and brochures only should be included in the technical proposal, with no rates mentioned; all pricing information belongs exclusively in the commercial offer. Rates must be quoted in Pakistani Rupees with a single rate per item, valid until 30 June 2027, and remain subject to no fluctuations in foreign currency or government duties unless stated otherwise.
Sealed envelopes containing both offers may be submitted at the tender box at the Main Gate of Central Ordnance Depot Lahore or posted to COD LP Branch, Sarfraz Rafiqui Road Lahore Cantonment. Quotations close at 10:30 AM on 6 August 2026 and will be opened publicly at 11:00 AM the same day in the presence of Depot board officers and firm representatives if desired. Technical proposals will be evaluated first without reference to price; only technically compliant bids will proceed to financial evaluation. Successful bidders must ensure delivery of all stores at Regional Workshops across Pakistan at quoted rates and provide manufacturer certificates at delivery, with all testing and inspection costs borne by the supplier.

Timeline is standard; bidding closes early August 2026.
Who can bid: Bidders must be original manufacturers or authorized distributors registered with both Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments. Suppliers must hold valid registration certificates from Sales Tax and IT authorities and attach copies with offers.
