Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited invites sealed bids on a single-stage two-envelope procedure for the renovation of Bait Ul Hamd Mosque at KS&EW in Karachi, Sindh. The project is open to eligible national contractors and firms with valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-3 or above. Bidding documents are available upon written request and payment of a non-refundable fee of Pakistani Rupees Six Thousand (Rs 6,000) in the form of a pay order issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan, drawn in favour of Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works. Eligible bidders must possess valid PEC registration in category C-3 or above as a prerequisite for participation. Bid security must be submitted in favour of Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited, amounting to Pakistani Rupees One Hundred Thousand (Rs 100,000) in the form of a pay order from a scheduled bank in Pakistan, valid for a period of 28 days beyond the bid validity date. Bids submitted without the required bid security will be rejected outright. All bidders must be registered with relevant national authorities as per standard procurement rules.
Technical bids will be opened on 24 August 2026 at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders' representatives who wish to attend. Financial bids of technically qualified firms will be opened subsequently on the announced date and time. Bids must be submitted to the office of General Manager (Services & Civil Work), Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited, West Wharf Dockyard Road, Karachi before 1100 hours on 24 August 2026. KS&EW reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA Rules 2004. Late bids will not be entertained.
