DUHS seeks a lead consultant for a major 500-bed teaching hospital complex with integrated medical college (2,800 students) and liver transplant unit at DHA Karachi. Scope spans full design—architectural through MEP, fire systems, medical gases—plus resident construction supervision. Project scale is institutional/large, involving phased expansion (250 additional beds). QCBS methodology suggests quality-weighted evaluation; tight August 2026 deadline indicates imminent engagement. One-off infrastructure project requiring integrated multi-disciplinary coordination rather than specialist subcontracting.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold active PEC or PCATP registration (architects/engineers). SECP/NTN registration typically required for firms. Typically, firms must have prior tertiary-care healthcare facility experience and demonstrated capability in master-planning. Bid security (2% of proposal value) mandatory and part of technical proposal; missing security triggers automatic rejection.
