Description / Scope of Work
The Department of Agriculture District Gilgit invites sealed quotations from qualified suppliers for the supply of agricultural items for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement encompasses four major categories: repair of vehicles and machinery; power tillers, agriculture tools, farmyard manure, chemical fertilizers and top soiling; cereal and vegetable seeds, root stock, fruit plants and stone seeds; and fencing materials with plastic tunnels. This is a multi-lot tender issued by the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan's agricultural department to support farming operations across the region. The quoted rates shall remain valid until 30 June 2027, indicating a framework-style arrangement where quantities may be adjusted according to fund availability and public interest priorities throughout the contract year.
Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of verified experience in supplying similar goods or services, supported by completion certificates as documentary proof. All quotations must be accompanied by bid security in the amount specified in the detailed tender document, issued by any scheduled bank including KCBL in favor of the Deputy Director Agriculture Gilgit. A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 4,000 must be deposited through government treasury challan to obtain the detailed tender documents during office hours. Only technically qualified bidders will have their financial proposals opened under the single-stage two-envelope procedure adopted for this tender.
Sealed quotations must reach the office of the Deputy Director Agriculture on or before 26 August 2026 at 10:00 am, with opening scheduled for 10:30 am the same day. Quotations lacking bid security, submitted after the deadline, or containing conditions will be rejected as non-responsive. Interested suppliers should contact the Office of Deputy Director Agriculture Gilgit for detailed tender documents and clarifications. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in accordance with Gilgit-Baltistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules.
