Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government and Rural Development Department, District Bajaur, invites sealed electronic tenders for the construction of four gateway monuments as part of uplifting and beautification activities in the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Provincial ADP. The four works are: Construction of Bab-e-Mamund, Bab-e-Salarzai (Tehsil Salarzai), Bab-e-Barang, and Bab-e-Utman Khail, all in District Bajaur. Each project carries an estimated cost of Rs 15 million, totalling Rs 60 million across the programme. These infrastructure improvements form part of green spaces and monument development in merged districts. The tender is open to government contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council and enlisted with the Construction and Works Department as per the Centralized Enlistment Policy for the current financial year.
Eligible bidders must possess valid PEC registration in Category C5 or above with civil engineering specialization codes CE-01, CE-09, or CE-10. Bidders are required to submit a Certificate of Sole Proprietorship or Form-H as Authorized Officer, maintain valid centralized enlistment with C&W Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, hold active NTN registration with the Federal Board of Revenue, and maintain valid Provincial Sales Tax registration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority. All bidders must provide audited financial statements for the preceding three years with UDIN numbers, matching tax returns. Bid security is fixed at 2 percent of the estimated cost. For bids quoted more than 10 percent below the engineer's estimate, additional security provisions apply as specified in the terms and conditions.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on 17-08-2026 at 2:00 PM in the office of Assistant Director LG&RDD District Bajaur. Electronic bids must be submitted by 11:30 AM on 04-09-2026, with opening scheduled for 12:00 PM the same day. Bid security instruments must be uploaded digitally and physically delivered to the office of the Assistant Director by the closing deadline.
