Description / Scope of Work
LG&CD Civil Division Gujarat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms through the Punjab e-Procurement System for construction of roads, streets, drains and culverts across multiple villages and communities in District Gujrat, Punjab. The procurement comprises nine distinct schemes with estimated contract values ranging from PKR 15.5 million to PKR 40 million, totalling approximately PKR 215.5 million. Projects include infrastructure development in villages such as Mohalia Allena, Bega Bamian, Bega Chak, Dheeder, Nagriamwala, Jasoki, Ghoraya and Khataala, with work scopes encompassing road construction, street development, drainage systems and culvert installation across the district.
Contractors and firms must be duly enlisted and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27 wherever applicable and must fulfil all eligibility requirements prescribed in the bidding documents. Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted through a Digital Bank Guarantee (e-Bank Guarantee) via the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bidders shall generate the PSID from the e-Procurement Portal and arrange for their scheduled bank to issue and transmit the Digital Bank Guarantee through SWIFT MT760 in favour of the Executive Engineer LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat. Upon acceptance of the bid, the successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Security equal to 10% of the Contract Price through SWIFT MT760 in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014.
Bidding documents containing detailed instructions, eligibility criteria, specifications and conditions of contract may be downloaded free of cost from the Punjab e-Procurement System and the PPRA Punjab website. Bids shall be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login) on or before 12-09-2026 at 12:30 PM and will be opened electronically on the same day at 01:00 PM in the office of the Assistant Engineer LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat in the presence of the tender opening committee and bidders or their authorized representatives. Bids shall remain valid for 60 days from the date of opening unless otherwise specified in the bidding documents.
