Description / Scope of Work
LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for the construction of roads in villages Warina, Changs and Dhok Muslim, Tehsil Sarai Alamgir, District Gujrat in Punjab. The project is valued at 5.000 million rupees and will be executed under the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 as amended, through the Punjab e-Procurement System. All bidders must be duly enlisted and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27 where applicable. Bidding documents containing detailed instructions, eligibility criteria, specifications, Bill of Quantities and contract conditions may be downloaded free of cost from the Punjab e-Procurement System portal and the PPRA Punjab website.
Eligible contractors and firms must submit a Digital Bank Guarantee as bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost (250,000 rupees) through the Punjab e-Procurement System using SWIFT MT760 transmission to the designated advising bank. Upon contract acceptance, the successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Security equal to 10% of the Contract Price through SWIFT MT760 in accordance with Rule 56 of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 as amended. Bidders who quote a rate more than 30% below the estimated cost must submit a detailed rate analysis to this office before the work order is issued; failure to do so will result in tender cancellation and forfeiture of earnest money.
Bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System on or before 12-09-2026 at 02:30 PM, and will be opened electronically the same day at 03:00 PM in the office of the Assistant Engineer LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat in the presence of tender opening committee, bidders and their authorized representatives. Bidding documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login and the PPRA Punjab website at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx. Bids remain valid for 60 days from the date of opening unless otherwise specified. Manual bids, email submissions, or proposals found to be corrupt or incomplete will not be accepted.
