Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the supply of quick connect disconnect couplings for petroleum products to its Keamari Terminal facility in Karachi, Sindh. The procurement comprises four items: 400 hose couplers with H-shank (3 inch diameter, aluminum camlock type C with brass handles and NBR seals), 200 dust caps (3 inch, lockable aluminum type), 200 male adapters (3 inch, aluminum), and 200 dust plugs for hose shanks (3 inch, lockable aluminum with Teflon or NBR seats). All equipment must be manufactured using diecast or permanent casting procedures, comply with international standards including MIL-C-27487, A-A59326D, EN 14420, and DIN 2828, and be suitable for petroleum product applications. The equipment will be located at Keamari Terminal, Karachi.
Bidders must be capable of supplying equipment conforming to all stated technical specifications and international standards. Manufacturers must provide certificates verifying material composition and testing reports confirming material properties and manufacturing procedures. Quotations must be submitted by 22 September 2026. Bidders should submit all relevant technical literature and product brochures for evaluation against tender requirements. Earnest money and purchase order details are to be completed by prospective bidders.
Material must be delivered to PSO central stores within 90 days of work order issuance. A one-year maintenance-free warranty applies from the delivery date. Late delivery incurs penalties at 0.1 percent of undelivered quantity value per day, capped at 10 percent of total contract value. Security deposits are released after one year from delivery.
