Description / Scope of Work

IESCO invites bids for rehabilitation of tower and pole structures on the 132KV transmission line from Bagh to Hattian, specifically at location numbers 02, 03 and 18 situated within the river zone affected by rainfall. This works contract, valued at Rs. 4,607,115 inclusive of Federal Sales Tax, is part of the upgradation of the GSO network and addresses critical infrastructure damage caused by weather events. The project is of national scope and procured through a single-stage one-envelope bidding process with a closing date of 23 September 2026.

Eligible bidders must meet IESCO's stipulated criteria for construction works contracting, typically including valid PEC registration in the relevant category, active NTN registration with the Federal Board of Revenue, and evidence of financial capacity to execute the contract value. Bidders are required to submit a bid securing declaration as specified in the tender documents, along with comprehensive documentation of past construction experience, key personnel details, financial resources, and any historical contract performance records.

Bid documents are available from IESCO-PMU at the Head Office located at Street 40, Sector G-7/4, Islamabad Capital Territory, contactable via phone +92-319-599-2205 or email iescopmu@iesco.com.pk. Bidders must submit sealed bids by the closing date of 23 September 2026; opening will follow immediately thereafter. For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

IESCO is inviting bids to rehabilitate damaged 132KV transmission line towers and poles at three specific locations in the Bagh-Hattian corridor affected by rainfall.

The contract value of Rs. 4.6 million is relatively modest, suggesting a focused repair scope rather than new construction. The one-envelope single-stage format indicates a streamlined, time-sensitive procurement with a closing date less than six months away. Bidders should have documented experience in high-voltage transmission infrastructure and ability to mobilise quickly for work in a river-affected zone.

Who can bid: Bidders typically require valid PEC registration for electrical or civil works (Category C or above), active NTN status, and evidence of prior high-voltage transmission work. IESCO's specific eligibility criteria and any blacklisting or past-performance restrictions should be confirmed by review of the full tender document and IESCO's procurement policy.
